1. What is this mod about?
Who Dares Wins is a multiplayer and singleplayer mod of Half-Life 2, about post-vietnam special operations warfare in a historically accurate setting.

2. Who are you guys?
We are a bunch of amateur modders from around the world who love computer games and gaming.

3. Why did you guys leave the Battlefield series?
We wanted to move to an engine with more flexibility and capability.

4. What happened to the BF2 version of WDW?
Development was abandoned when we moved to Source!

5. I already have CS:S, why should I play this mod?
This mod is going to be totally different from CS! CS is a digital paintball game, and while it can be a lot of fun, we hope those of you who want a more realistic feel will play our mod as well!

6. What do I need to run WDW on my computer?
If your comp can run CounterStrike: Source or Day of Defeat Source you should be fine.

7. I am looking to join a mod, what sort of help do you guys need?
Modelers, coders, skinners and animators mostly, although if you have another skill let us know, we could probably still use you. If you don't have a skill but are willing to learn, we'll talk to you too!

8. How realistic are you planning to make this mod?
Prettly realistic. We hope to have weapons with a bunch of functional features, such as barrel flashlights, working optics, fire selectors, bipods, LAMs and iron sights, as well as develop realistic but uncomplicated gameplay modes.

9. Is it going to be multi-player or singleplayer?
Eventually both, but online multiplayer will be our main effort.

10. I have Bf1942, can I still get the Bf1942 version of WDW?
Yes, you can still get it from our Downloads page. You can read about the mod at our Bf1942 mod page here.

11. Where does the name "Who Dares Wins" come from?
It is the motto of the British Special Air Service.

12. When is the mod going to be released?
At this point we really don't know.

13. What features do you plant to implement?
Various gameplay modes that are true to our Battlefield roots, based around a class system and a respawn style of play. Area capture will be used in some maps as a sort of control point system. Some maps will have objectives. Weapons will be fully functional, with working bipods, optics, fire selectors, LAMs, iron sights and the like.

14. Are there going to be driveable vehicles in the mod?
This hasn't been decided yet, but maybe.

15. Will there be HDR?
Possibly, this depends...
